My name is Dave Seaney. I am a playing card collector that also loves history and genealogy. I have combined all of these interests to write stories about the forgotten people of playing card history. I now refer to myself as a "Playing Cardologist".
My stories are based on as much first hand information I can find. I use legal documents, personal information from connected family historians or descendants and sources from the period I am researching.
As a member of 52+Joker, the largest playing card collector club in the world, I also have access to lots of other experts. I believe my stories have more correct information than others that have previously appeared. I am always trying to improve my stories so if you have any information, or photos that are helpful please contact me.
I am always open to researching more people. If you have any ideas, or questions, please send them to me through my Contact Page.
